You mean the 'KDE releases Software Compilation 4.6 to distributors....' bit? Yeah, I'm not sure about that. It was in the notes for the proposal so I assumed it came out of the earlier discussion somehow. I'm not sure we need it. However, last time (4.5) there was one announcement on the KDE front page that then linked to the others. If the release/web teams are happy to put three announcements up on the front page then we probably don't need the joint one. Re the SC in general, I wonder if there might be some value in including it in the release announcement texts (not titles) this time - 'Today KDE released new versions of the Plasma workspaces as part of Software Compilation 4.6'. That might help avoid confusion about where the software compilation has gone by making it more of a gradual phasing out - or maybe it is better to have a clean break with the SC terminology. Something for greater minds than mine to ponder :-) though if they don't I guess we'll have to make a decision...
