Replying was just next on my list of things to do (sorry for the delay - I was

I agree, your plan looks good. A couple of things you might want to think 
about is demoing both Plasma Desktop and Plasma Netbook and maybe talk about 
the fact that we have some mobile applications (and a Plasma Mobile workspace) 
being developed.

You might also look at http://community.kde.org/Promo/Talking_Points for some 
ideas (these are various things that KDE people have picked out that seem to 
impress).

I was just going to add that it doesn't really seem like it matters that I was 
away as Damien has given you an excellent answer and some pointers :-)

There is one more thing though - can I ask *you* a few questions?

Given your name and the alphabet it shows up in (as who the email is from) I'm 
thinking you may be from Russia or another Russian speaking country. Of 
course, I could be wrong - I had only one year of learning Russian and that 
was about 14 years ago...

We would be interested to know where you are from, how you got involved in 
promoting KDE, how things are for KDE where you live, how we (as in the people 
on kde-promo) can help you and how you can help us. If you will be presenting 
at a conference or exhibition it and would be willing to write something about 
it then it could be very interesting to feature that as a story on the Dot 
(dot.kde.org).
