Stuart, you weren't so close... I'm from Bulgaria ;)
There is a yearly open conference called OpenFest. This year, the
organizers had a lack of lecturers and they've put an open form for
everyone who wants to make a lecture on anything, connected with Open
Source.

Then I, as a fan of KDE a little before 4.0 final(don't know how it
happened...I've really hated kde 3), filled out this form and decided
to talk about KDE. And...little less than a week I received an
approval. So this is it. Sadly I'm not a KDE contributor, even that I
want to be, but still just trying to make something useful with c++
and qt.

Thanks about Promo/Talking points...I've almost forgot plasma-netbook.
Will mention it, then in the demo time I'm going show a little tweaks
with it(great is that it could be added as different activity). I've
almost forgot KWallet, too. Since I'm using it even for my Firefox
password, that was going to be a shame. Also I'm planning to play a
little with krunner(application, widget browser, task killer
calculator and unit converter), lancelot and shelf stuff,
networkmanager's plasmoid, the ability to place objects directly over
unlocked widgets from browsers(notes, thumbs), application launchers,
widgets, activities and useful kwin effects like desktop grid,
transparency and stuff.

Damien, thanks about the promo note with upcoming features. I have a
question...is there a modules/apps that were completely rewritten, not
just ported to Qt4 and improved, by the time "kde 3.5 to kde 4" and
after it?
