Lies!  You are indeed a KDE contributor if you're out there promoting KDE
and giving a talk to people about how great it is :-)

Should you decide that you would enjoy helping out with these types of
things more often I'd highly encourage you to join this mailing list and
keep an eye out for opportunities to contribute via KDE Promo in the
future.  We need help quite regularly...and don't hesitate to tell people
that in your talk.  There are lots of other non-coding ways to contribute as
well like bug reporting, bug triage (cleaning out duplicates, junk reports,
etc), documentation, translation, and many other things.  All these things
make developers' lives much easier and they really appreciate the help so
that they can focus on coding.
