Hi Anne, I think this is, in general, out of the scope of an upstream project like KDE. Hardware behavior is more a distro topic, except maybe the graphic cards and Solid related hardware. Distros are the ones in charge of shipping the drivers. We can point them to the resources the distros already have. That would be definetly very useful.
