Let's not forget, the mainsite and its announcement made a high peak
on user visits, from 17000 a day to 36000. And nothing changed for any
other site. Only the mainsite got that attention. It might be a good
idea to forward people to other places, but it should be an
opportunity to handle those people directly where they are.
Negative comments might sound weird in the first moment, but then,
they might even be helpful to spread the word. Like, everyone talks
about that shitty pizza around the corner. Guess how long it takes for
me to check it out ;)
Though i agree we should have a better documentation, where we can
forward people. But then, we need more volunteers to write such docu.
