i agree with what you mean, and i want to make it clear that we never "threw" 
Trinity out of KDE. they were new contributors who wanted to take 
maintainership of 3.x with little/no track record in our community in such a 
role. you may recall that we still gave them our blesing to do so and a home 
for their repositories. we only wanted a different name on the results as we 
had no idea what the results would be. i feel this was reasonable: no one's 
work was blocked, support was given, etc.

so .. now "throwing" happened.

if we can lay down our weapons of language work on communicating with kindness 
and understanding, we can finally put this to rest.

... all in time for 5.0 ;)

(i jest ... we've learned a lot and 5.0 will be a hell of a lot smoother, if 
only because the scope is dramatically safer and smaller ...)
