Exactly the same sentiment from me. Note that I have had the same
'fight' in the openSUSE community concerning the release of openSUSE
12.1 - we do ship KDE 3 (again) but quite a few KDE4 maintainers spoke
out against mentioning it heavily. It even came to a little
"add-remove-add-remove-again" fight in our announcement-etherpad...
Some people genuinely see Trinity as an insult to their KDE 4 efforts.
I'm not saying I don't get that point but it's all about how we look
at things. And THAT is our job - in the way we word things (including
announcements) we change how people think*.

I'm therefor very happy with Aaron's action towards the Trinity ppl.
