Note that I have had the same 'fight' in the openSUSE community concerning the release of openSUSE 12.1 - we do ship KDE 3 (again) but quite a few KDE4 maintainers spoke out against mentioning it heavily. It even came to a little "add-remove-add-remove-again" fight in our announcement-etherpad... Some people genuinely see Trinity as an insult to their KDE 4 efforts. I'm not saying I don't get that point but it's all about how we look at things. And THAT is our job - in the way we word things (including announcements) we change how people think*. I'm therefor very happy with Aaron's action towards the Trinity ppl. > Anne > > > _______________________________________________ > This message is from the kde-promo mailing list. > > Visit https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-promo to unsubscribe, set digest on or temporarily stop your subscription. > * Boy, am I arrogant today _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
