The main thing here is to take on the ideas that you come up with. There are a lot of ideas, not as many people who will make them happen. So I suggest that you go ahead and see how things unfold. Perhaps you'll need to get other people involved, but for that you just need to ask here or IRC #kde-promo on freenode. I just looked at #kde-promo. Many of the active kde promo people are online there. Look at the KDE Mission (http://ev.kde.org/whatiskdeev.php) and the Code of Conduct (http://kde.org/code-of-conduct/). Staying true to those will keep you out of trouble. If you have questions or run into difficulties, just ask on IRC or send an email to this list. Trust yourself.
