There is so much to know about KDE--history, architecture, applications, development platform, the Community, branding, various programs. It would be tough to predict what might come up in a podcast. And you having to do sufficient research to handle any and all questions would be challenging, at least. It would help KDE and you to have all the facts straight in such a podcast and to be able to answer with ease. That's asking quite a lot from you. I'd feel more comfortable with you coordinating the "appearance" (making it happen) and being the "newest member of KDE Promo" in the interview. That way you could talk about how jazzed you are with no preparation. Your enthusiasm comes through in your messages, your curiosity, your willingness to engage. You could be accompanied by someone who has been around for a while who could handle the details. The two perspectives together would show KDE in a wonderful light. Would you be cool with that? It would give you a lot of exposure right off the bat, and would almost certainly be successful. Suggestions for co-interviewees (all on this list)... Stuart Jarvis Jeff Mitchell Lydia Pintscher Jos Poortvliet Plus many, many others. If you can get a sense of what the interviewer might be interested in, you could post that here and ask who wants to be involved. Thank you for taking this on.
