it turns out that i will be attending. i'm still looking for accomodations but
i've booked my ticket for the actual event and will be drifting about. i won't
be available all the time (i expect to be in meetings from time to time) but
would love to hang out and help at the KDE booth ...

since you mentioned Spark, i'll be bringing one with me (surprise! :) and it
can be used in the booth.

assuming that i'm welcome in the KDE booth ;), i do recognize that as one of
the primary organizers around Spark that there is the possibility for
awkwardness so i'd like to get this out there in advance:

* i will not be selling Spark nor conducting any busineses while in the KDE
booth. when in the booth, i will be there for KDE. period.

* when i do have Spark-related meetings, i will not hold them at or around the
KDE booth

* should business-y questions arise around Spark (like how to buy,
partnerships, etc) and i am in the booth at the time, i will schedule a later
meeting and carry on that discussion elsewhere.

basically, i want to respect the "sacred ground" that is KDE's space at CeBIT
as a non-profit, free software community .. but i still want to help out with
my KDE fan and developer hat on .. if you'll have me :)

if you do feel it would be too awkward / potentially ruffle feathers to have me
in the booth, i'm also cool with just hanging out at the show and wandering
about the booths as a regular every day attendee :)

cheers ...
