Hey everyone, I had a really interesting talk with Carl yesterday. He discussed about the fact that the presence of KDE in U.S. is not quite profound, unlike the impact of KDE in other parts of the world. There are millions of KDE users in the U.S. yet there doesn't seem to be that much of an involvement in the large scale events, so I was thinking about doing some research which is focused on getting more involvement from people in KDE activities and development. Also Carl suggested some research on what events are happening around FOSS in the U.S so that we can recruit local people to promote KDE and give talks. It would be really great if I could get your views and all your great ideas regarding this. Thanks a ton !
