Thank you Devaja. I enjoyed our conversation. It's great that yashah
talked with you about KDE. Your enthusiasm is contagious.

For several years, I have been on the organizing team for
linuxfestnorthwest.org (LFNW) in Bellingham, Washington. That is the
original community-driven Fest in the U.S. Since it started, others
have come into being as well...Fests like SCALE, Ohio LinuxFest. I
know that KDE is a big deal at your college
(www.daiict.ac.in/daiict/index.html) and appreciate that you will
share the excitement there with KDE supporters in the U.S.

Several people from the Bellingham Linux Users Group have attended
large Linux and FOSS events to tell people about LFNW. One of the
promo pieces is a map with a listing on the reverse of the Fests _we
know of_. I'm sure there are more. The listing from July 2012 is
attached. Maybe people here will report other grass roots Fests in the
U.S.
