Good to hear from you.

Your message is probably sufficient to get folks involved who need to
address this. Legal issues such as this are the responsibility of the
association, KDE e.V.

We had this conversation regarding content on the Dot (dot.kde.org),
where there is licensing information. The conclusion was that a
Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License (CC BY 3.0) is the
closest to how KDE handles other similar material.
