The media cares for the Workspaces which will have their own release cycle beginning with PW2, no matter what SC/Apps does. The press does not care for most individual KDE applications anyway and in rare occasions when they care, it's Amarok and Calligra which have their own release cycle already (and Calligra releases are roughly every 4 months). The 6-months cycle seems to be the reason why most Extragear apps became Extragear. A 3-months cycle could convince them to come back into SC. More apps in SC = more reasons for media to cover a release and maybe lesser known KDE apps which are now in Extragear like Choqok, Bluedevil, or Yakuake could get at least some public coverage outside of Planet KDE if they'd join SC. _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
