Thank you, Mario. I agree.

Several people who _might_ have the authority (such as being on an officially 
sanctioned working group or a member of the KDE e.V. Board) to allow your 
survey received your email to the KDEPromo mailing list. No one has objected.

The KDE Community thrives by people being in communication and then taking 
coordinated action.

There is a mailing list for the Community [1]. I suggest that you announce 
your survey on this mailing list and entice people to participate. It will be 
voluntary, and there's no way to predict how many responses you will get.

You might be interested in this Dot article about KDE and sociology [2].

Other people than Mario will be interested in what you discover. Perhaps you 
could publish your findings at dot.kde.org.
