Re: KDE Neon and how to handle this?

Come now, you know better than that. :)

The damage was already done. I heard from multiple representatives,
from various distro projects, with the same concerns as what I laid
out in the article. The reasons for the concerns were obvious and the
concerns themselves justified. I write. I publish. I do my best to
work with projects to help them avoid these sorts of pit-falls... but
I wouldn't be doing my job if I hadn't written this article. And I
did so in a very fair way, all things considered.

Should also be noted that I write and speak positively about KDE with
great regularity. All without talking to the board first. In fact...
this is the first time I've felt it necessary to contact you. And I
am *amazed* that I had not been contacted by anyone on the board.
*That* is a huge problem for KDE.

KDE did this damage to themselves. Don't shoot the messenger.
Especially when the messenger is a good -- but very bluntly honest --
friend.
