Yeah. But isn't it better to get their buy-in before putting in the
work? Imagine for example promo puts work into building a relationship
with a partner, convince them to join the advisory board just to then
be told by the board that isn't going to happen for this partner.

I think that's exactly the point. If it should be a community-wide
thing then it probably should go through the goals process? (I'll work
on getting the next round started in the next weeks.)
