We can tease, yes. But, you are right, the general public should focus on the 
production version.

I'm here and interested. I would like to be able to help you edit the text of 
the announcement. I would like to help make sure it has the widest appeal 
possible.

I would also like to announce the release on social media and in forums where 
developers hang out (maybe on Reddit and Hacker News). As my knowledge of 
KDevelop is not terribly comprehensive, I may have to ask you lots of 
questions to do all this. I hope that is okay.
