It's a good feature that i miss in almost all image programs. it exists in the GQview (a gtk2 based onde, aparently discontinued), exists on the Acdsee and IrfanView for win32. i was unable to compile GwenView 1.4 because of some missing library, but i'm sure that this feature is missing.
