Thanks for your example, i downloaded it changed something on
Makefile.am (LDFLAGS iirc with libraries you linked into kdevelop)
and imported admin from svn (kde 3.5 as usual), it builds and
run correctly.

Well as gwenview it doesn't crash sometimes, while it does for the most.

I start believing it isn't...  i've tried to connect signals

without any good results.
the test i'd like to do is to use

instead of the slot openUrl()...

Well BKO (http://bugs.kde.org/) is for any kde applications, so yo can
open a bug against kparts providing your code as example for instance...
