Hi,

Very good news!

In my system, using libxineparts as player, it crash. I am using Debian
stable with:
----------
ii libxine1 1.1.2+dfsg-4
the xine video/media player library, binary
ii kaffeine 0.8.3-1
versatile media player for KDE
----------

In my brother's unstable Debian, we have:
----------
ii libxine1 1.1.7-1
the xine video/media player library, binary
ii kaffeine 0.8.4-5
versatile media player for KDE
----------

And is not crashing! (either my application, either gwenview)

I bet that the bug is in libxine1 or in libxinepart.so (that is part of
kaffeine package). In the newer version this is fixed!

More things: using libkamplayerpart is not crashing. I have tested using
mpg files. To change it, go to kcontrol, search "mime", and in "mime
assotiations" search for "video", then "embedded" and then you can
change the order. You can configure more up "Embedded mplayer" and then
"kaffeine-xine". Then should work too.

Any feedback?

Buf, lucky that finally it seems that we (mainly) catch it :-)
