That's interersting, i was trying to change my default setting to avoid
kaffeine and trying with mplayer engine. I'll take a look at your code
this evening if i find the time....

Well we could increase library dependency, in the case but we can't 
constrain people to update a library on their system. Distros are
reluctant to upgrade library version on theyr stable branch...
