what about gwenview does not uses nepomuk to store the data, but just
insert the comments on the images that they can (jpg, png for
instance) and then uses nepomuk just to show the comments, ( I think
nepomuk already can read that information from the image files) this
will help with the duplication content and such.
( if I`m saying something not right, feel free to trow a shoe at me,
I`m just beginning).
