k3b 1.0.2 freezes my Linux box

I've a Linux Box powered by AMD 3800+ X2 CPU.
My distro is a Slamd64 current.
I've two serial ata HDs (raid0 software) and three optical drives: 
Plextor PX-716A, Plextor PX-755A, Optiarc AD-7371s SATA drive.
The two ATA drives use the new libata interface.
k3b 1.0.1 works fine.
K3b 1.0.2 freezes completely the system when I start the program.
The lock is very hard. No SSH is possible on the affected machine. 
Only hard reset is possible. In a case I got also a filesystem 
corruption.
Googling I have seen another user that has experienced the same 
problem.
How can help to debugging the problem?
