Thanks for the correction.

What on earth was I thinking?! My excuse is that it was early, and I
was chasing children to get ready for school. Obviously resulting in
my not paying full attention to them, or my reply.

To expand on my original reply then;

Before pressing the "burn" button, go to the "Filesystem" tab and
select "Very large files (UDF)" from the relevant gadget.

*Now* you can press burn.

Although I see Bobby has already tried that, and got nowhere. :-(

As I've never actually tried to burn a single file that large, I'm
stumped. I've burned disks greater than 4Gig in size, but there have
always been multiple files, not a single file.

Bobby, I've had a quick Google, and found a discussion here;

http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?p=118506&sid=9c26219adac3ce9f413eea4dc4a47e68

The key point being that the right versions of genisoimage and mkisofs
are required to do what you want. The discussion doesn't say which are
the correct versions, though. No doubt Google will help there.
