Thanks Brad, kind of you to wish us well on the move. It's been a bit of a pain but we're in...
Just got the PC all set back-up and connected to a new ISP so I can get back to trying to t/s this problem.

I did the check as suggested and it was NOT enabled for image only. Good news/bad news...

On a side note I have to ask... if a standalone DVD player is 2 years old for instance, will it play the dual-layer discs?
I'm thinking it should. Aren't many of the movies we rent actually dual layer media? I've seen a lot of rentals that have not only a 4:3 ratio version of the movie but also the 16:9 ratio version. Doesn't that much data require a dual-layer disc?
In any case the disc I burned should actually have worked in my PC DVD burner, but it wasn't recognized there either. So I'm still left to test by trying to burn another I suppose.... I'm thinking this time I'll try another .iso which is equally large ... just in case there was something wrong with the original .iso copy I burned.

I'll post back those results.
If anyone has any new ideas....
Thanks!
