Hi Rex,

It would seem you are correct. I downloaded the K3b source and compiled it,
then tried compiling the monkey audio plugin again; this time it worked, and
I am able to burn an APE/cue disk image.

If you could re-enable the -devel portions in a future release, this would
indeed save some trouble.
