Change default settings for CD ripping

Hi everyone,

is it possible to change the default settings for 
ripping CDs?

I'm referring to the window that pops up after pressing 
the "Start ripping" button; it does offer the option 
of saving the current settings for later use, but if 
possible I'd like to change the default entirely (esp. 
the default save directory and encoding settings).
