again on k3b 1.68 and errors

Yesterday i attempted to append one more session to an incremental open 
DVD-R , and close it. The write operation was performed slowly at 3-4x 
speed (it slowed down from 22x after less than 20'') . K3b exited with 
success but the result disc couldn't be mounted and read. mount complain 
about the fs type. this error caused data loss of the first session 
written by k3b. a table dvd reader couldn't read the disk, either.
i strongly suspect that for this issue and others, k3b and wodim are not 
to be blamed but rather kubuntu 9.10 which proved to be buggy, instable 
and ill-fitted with its software set. other programs show abnormal 
behavior and i got a kernel panic, X freezing the system and other 
annoyances. nevertheless you k3b people may want to investigate on that 
since karmic is so widely spread and besides i'm no guru.
