I've found some more bugs. Matching by some variables seems to be broken:

contrib/kpa-filter --db demo/index.xml '($yearTo == 0) && ($monthTo == 0) && 
($dayTo == 0) && ($yearFrom == 0) && ($monthFrom == 0) && ($dayFrom == 0)'
