I have been brainstorming a bit over lunch and during the afternoon,
here's what I put up for discussion.

We might come up with a landing page on koffice.org that basically
holds some kind of pr/marketing/bling content and links to sub-pages
holding content on the single applications. Everything that feels like
tutorial, handbook etc. should be moved to userbase or techbase and be
linked from the koffice page. I think of something like phonon has.
This basically means that we have very little changes of content to
the main site and everything that needs more maintenance will be
available somewhere else and linked on our site.

This very rough as an idea. I'm working on making this idea explainable. ;)
