Difficult to say since you do not tell us your processor, but on my system, kdetv uses <3% (+30% X) load (Athlon 64 3000+) for half-framerate fullscreen video display (1280x1024) including TomsMoComp deinterlacing. tvtime used 30% CPU + 15% X. So these values do not seem too high for a TV viewer. Dirk
