no audio with soundblaster 24bit

Hi,

the problem is that I can't select a mixer element, the soundcard is
recognized correctly (CA0106). Is there a way to work around this
by using the kdetv-plugin-alsamixer?? I tried a lot of different settings
but none worked.
kernel 2.6.12 (gentoo-r9)
kdetv 0.8.7
alsa 1.0.9

Any ideas?
