Yes, of course I am only talking about AGPL 3. GPL 3 states:
“Notwithstanding any other provision of this License, you have 
permission to link or combine any covered work with a work licensed 
under version 3 of the GNU Affero General Public License into a single 
combined work, and to convey the resulting work. The terms of this 
License will continue to apply to the part which is the covered work, 
but the special requirements of the GNU Affero General Public License, 
section 13, concerning interaction through a network will apply to the 
combination as such.”

In my opinion not only applications developed as a web service right 
from the beginning can get in danger. Well, it is unlikely for 
traditional GUI stuff, but there are many KDE projects (like the PIM, 
Nepomuk and Plasma stuff) where this is not the case. And for such 
projects developers should be free to choose such extra-protection.

Well, I think it is not good to wait until software gets tivoised or 
put into a web service. It is not that unlikely regarding current 
development of KDE applications/libraries (mobile form factors, web 
service integration, modularisation). I have already heard about the 
Poppler-issue, but is there any specific reason why they are not 
allowing GPL 3?
