Hi,

I'm using a KDE version that has been shipped with RedHat 7.2
distribution. I've configured my task bar to group similar tasks
together. However, it is having an unwelcome lateral effect-- a very
inconvenient focussing strategy.

let me explain-- say, there are 2 windows, X, and Y, open on my desktop,
focus being on X. Now I minimize Y, so that Y joins with its siblings in
the task bar. So focus remains on X, as expected. Then I restore Y from
task bar and it comes to the fore, leaving X in the background. However,
the focus still remains with X. So as I expect that Y wud respond to my
keyboard inputs, they are actually passed on to X. This feature is
really disturbing. Also, this does not happen if the grouping of similar
tasks is turned off.

Now, do you call it a feature or a bug? and if this is a bug, then is a
work-around available?

Regards,
Soubhik.
