please be carefule with recommending this as a course of action. it will 
remove the user's bookmarks, addressbook, kjots books, ALL of their settings 
and other assorted items.

i've dealth with a few ... uh .. unhappy people on IRC after having been told 
do that ;-)

if you want to get rid of your configurations (but save your data), try:

 rm $KDEHOME/share/config/*

you'll still have to reconfigure EVERYTHING but you won't lose any data. you 
can also poke around the individual files in there. note that kdeglobals, 
kdesktoprc, kickerrc and kwinrc and the primary look and feel configuration 
files ...
