Sort by filetype in konqueror

Maybe this is already in new konq (I'm still on KDE 2.1):

I was wondering what the file browser was missing 
in it's columns/detail listing view -  then I realised - a "type" or 
"mimetype" column header.  Some code must already be 
magic-IDing the files to generate the icon images (it's not solely
by extension like 'doze or by .info files like Amiga),
so why not have a "type" column to sort by ?

It'd sure be useful to click the "name" column to alphabetize
and then the "type" column to put all the files of a given 
type together...

Minor niggle, and for all I know it's already fixed in later releases 
(I won't have up-to-date KDE for a while yet (33.6 modem...) 
- 2.2 and late 3.0beta will come with CD's I've already ordered, and 3.0's 
out now....)
