The behaviour of qPopupMenu has been bugging me for a while on KDE. What i want to know is this behaviour just on my machine. Or is it a reported bug. When i have a large menu, the perfect example is the Bookmarks menu on konqueror, then it changes the menu behaviour. If i single click on any other menu, then the menu stays visible and moving the mouse highlights the menu items. But, if i have a menu that is taller than the screen, single-clicking does not work, the menu will disappear and a menu item will have been selected. In the case of konqueror, this is often "add new bookmark" dialog. To get the expected behaviour of the menu staying visible, i have to hold-down the mouse button. This is very inconsistent. It is already inconsistent in the way that the menu does not drop-down, but instead goes up, especially noticable if you have konquerors window half-way down the screen. This behaviour can also be reproduced with the desktop menu by creating loads of windows and using the window list menu. Can i get some comments on this please? Mark Cox
