A feature wish: An option to preview MS Windows icons

Hello everyone, 
 
(as I hope anybody is reading this (!!!) ) 
 
I was thinking if it would be feasible or whether 
there is any actual plan to give user an option to 
turn on "preview" for MS Windows icons, both 
from *.ico and *.exe files. I've seen GNOME 
already has this (for *.ico files), I also have 
spotted a nice mechanism in WINE that extracts 
images from installed windows binaries and creates 
*.xpm's. This would combine nicely with WINE's ability 
to launch windows apps. Are thare any plans 
or (maybe)coding concerning this? I'm still using 
KDE 3.0.3, I may not know...
