Well, first off I do think they'll do it eventually, by accident if 
nothing else, and figure it out.  And one of the first things most 
people learn when being introduced to an X desktop of any sort is how to 
middle-click.  This could be a useful feature for people who are new to 
KDE, but not new to X.  And for those who are brand-spanking-fresh out 
of Windows-new, put it in Kandalf's useful tips. 

Now, as for "hidden or secret functionality," I'd just like to point out 
that this would be nothing new to KDE, which is one of the 
worst-documented mature pieces of software that I've ever worked with.  
But that's another issue altogether.
