Re: Upgrading KDE

Do downsides that I can see.

I did a pkg_delete of all KDE-related ports (including qt) and then installed 
KDE from the port (because I had trouble finding the latest-&-greatest as a 
package).

This took . . . oh, I dunno, 12 hours or something, but it worked just great.

cvsup your ports, of corurse, before doing it.

Actually, I deleted *all* my packages and re-installed *everything*, after 
getting a new "world" and kernel as well.  But I don't imagine that you have 
to take it to quite that extreme.
