I have another little suggestion.  At the little box that says 
`Current key'      [none]

The dialog that comes up when you press the button (none in this case)
is totally opaque to me.  There is no indication what any of it means.
It's not at all clear that one just needs to press the X and then type
whatever keys.  Further there is no way to tell what []multi-key and
[]autoclose boxes do.  In fact they seem to do nothing in my choices.

Choosing C-E to start emacs with or without checking multikey seems to
do exactly the same thing.

There could be some tiny bit of text to guide a user. Maybe
something like `Press X, then choice of kb keys' across the top.

Finally, this is quite a smooth selector setup, but like all such
setups it suffers from being rather clunky if one has a dozen or more
applications to do.

I wondered where this information gets written, thinking I might be able
to do it by hand `en masse'.  So in an effort to find where, I copied my
~/ before making choices.  Made some choices. Logged out and restared
kde.

Diffing the copy of ~/ and  ~/ revealed no file with those setttings.
So where is the info kept..  And is it in a format that can be human edited?
