Just out of curiosity, how would this relate to the fact that neither 
KMLDonkey nor Apollon implement any kind of file handling protocol? This 
was my original argument for why KDE being sued over them is vanishingly 
improbable, and I wonder if the point was ever sufficiently elaborated.

Mind you, that is no defence against contributory copyright infringement in 
the form of providing documentation or use cases detailing how to 
illegally download copyrighted material, nor do I claim it would be. 
Common sense obviously still applies.
