kdepim <-> egroupware broken?

Hi list,

is there  a way to connect a kdepim4 to an egroupware that is not basically 
unusable?

Doesn't matter wether I set up groupdav or xmlrpc, after a few connections 
kdepim (korganizer, kabc) forget what username to use, and try to connect with 
some long random string, which leads to egroupware blocking the IP... not good 
if you're the administrator.


running KDE 4.3.2 on openSUSE 11.1 here, kdepim versions:
kdepim4-runtime-4.3.2-4.1



any hints?
