Akonadi KAddressbook Resource uses a lot of memory

Hi,
  it seems that the akonadi_kabc_resource uses a lot of memory on my system.

From top:
  1161m 860m 2924 S    0 10.8   2:22.36 akonadi_kabc_re

I have a large LDAP address book as a source, but even in plain etxt, it is much
smaller (few hundreds of MB).

Is this normal? Can I do anything to reduce that?

Will do some digging to post more specifics, anything particular that would
be of interest?
