imap mail account error

Hi all,
I need to add some email accounts that are hosted on Google Apps ,
imap.gmail.com '\I managed to add one account once but I failled to
add the others, then I removed all acountr, I tried again but no
account works.
I get errors like :

The server refused the supplied username and password. Do you want to
go to the settings, have another attempt at logging in, or do nothing?

Login failed, server replied: A000002 BAD Failed to parse your command

Hitting the button  Autodetect will detect that "SSL is supported and
recomended" so it uses SSL.

I added this accounts in Thunderbird and they work,(Thunderbird has
some magic autodetection, I just add the email and password and it
detects the configs I do not know how to check what configurations is
using).
Please tell me if you need more information,kontact versions is 4.7.3
I am running Kubuntu 11.10  with KDE from backports PPA
