Well my solution is related to 4.7.4 - in 4.8 things have changed and I 
understand they again will in 4.9. So I am not sure it is a good idea, 
especially since at least one part of it is kind of "guess and try and 
somehow it works". Might even be distro-specific (Kubuntu 11.10).
