Thanks. Very handy - that's exactly what I want to do. I ignore all the 
Akonadi stuff in my backups and rsyncs anyway since it's quite a large 
mass.

One day I'd like my desktop and laptop to be mirrors of each other but 
that's going to take some time and testing.
