KaddressBook, kmail and Groups

Hi

I can create groups in kaddressbook but i don't know how to access them in 
kmail in a TO/CC/BCC field.  I created a group called "group-test" and the 
name comes up in the list if you start typing it in but when you go to send, 
it gets rejected for not having a ".".  Is there a particular format to use 
with the group name.

Is there a way to add an address to a address book group from kmail  - i can 
only see how to add it to the address book as a contact.  

I presume this https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365119 is reporting the 
same error.
